Tips for CLAT Mock Test Series

First off, I’ve encountered tonnes of superb kids who are initiated into the CLAT process with incredible zeal. That’s in class 11. Then, the pressure from school, tuition and at times “parents” (Please forgive me for this) plague these very super bright kids and they lose focus and focus on the wrong things. If you want to make it to a coveted National Law University, then, I am sorry to say, you have to slog it out. Scores of students, each year, take a year off and they give their heart and soul to crack CLAT. So, you must too. But it’s not as scary as it sounds. My mentors at OPUS motivated me towards a simple goal, they told me that the golden ratio that you need to crack the much dreaded CLAT is the 7 hours/Week rule (for at least a year, and if you have less time, then do the math!). If you can devote 7 hours a week to CLAT Coaching, NOTHING, let me repeat, NOTHING can stop you from getting into your dream school. 7 hours a week doesn’t sound scary, does it? But the challenge is to stick to it! So, if you’re already taking some kind of coaching, please do ensure that you at least review the stuff that’s taught to you in class, do the handouts and class tests and get on to your online sectional tests (all of these are researched aspects at OPUS, they provide you with the most advanced questions solved in the easiest way).

Top Strategy for Law Entrance Examination

Now getting back to your school and how daunting it is! Let’s accept it, the gargantuan amount of school work is a complete waste of time, but you have to accept the fact that you can’t do anything about it! You have to learn how to manage your time and ensure that you take out some time to prepare for CLAT and solve questions. It can be fun, and also a good break from the rigors of the tedious and unedifying school work. If you want to become a lawyer or work as legal professions (earning tonnes of money), you have to get your priorities right. In other words, CLAT is as important as your school boards. So you can’t really ignore it! But again, Cracking CLAT doesn’t take as much work as does school if you’re consistent with your prep: Following up on your classes, doing as many questions as you can be covering each section (OPUS is really good and they provide you with a 15000+ question bank with solutions and broken down into section tests/topic tests etc), and reading the papers regularly (OPUS hands out a monthly current affairs supplement with 50 questions and answers each month along with static GK material and question banks). You should also follow up on your weaknesses and rectify them asap!!!!!!

A lot of you think that you can’t prep for CLAT during your pre-boards or your boards. Well, you’re wrong! YOU CAN. AND THE ONLY THING STOPPING YOU FROM DOING EXACTLY THAT IS YOU! Remember the 7 hour a week rule.

Why Opus For CLAT Mock Test

If you stick to this you will definitely be a rockstar in CLAT!
Now coming to the main point of this article, TAKING MOCKS! CLAT Mock Tests are your ONLY guide to gauge how your prep is folding out and helps you identify your strength’s, weaknesses, establishing your time strategy, and getting you accustomed to a variety of questions. Try out the OPUS MOCK TEST series, which I found to be the toughest mock series among all the other’s I had subscribed to. Also, they provide you with a variety of questions and amazing analytics that help you track your progress accurately. The reason you should take as many mocks as you can is two-fold:
a) It helps you sharpen your mind, gets you to sit in one place and concentrate and gets you to think
b) it exposes you to a variety of questions, helps you understand where you’re going wrong and suggests ways of improving them (not implying that the system will suggest a way forward =) ) But it will definitely provide you with tonnes of analytics to gauge your progress, eg: how long you’re taking to answer a question, how many easy/difficult questions you got right/wrong, topic wise analysis etc. (OPUS mocks have this feature, so go for it!)

So, in conclusion, the more mocks you take, the better prepared you will be for CLAT. So go ahead with all guns blazing and crack this CLAT. I would highly recommend OPUS, their super motivational faculty and curriculum got me through to NLS =)
I hope this helps. All the very best for CLAT 2023 🙂
