MIT-ID forms are out and the last date of application is on 28th February 2022. If you aspire to become a part of the designing industry and explore the world of Fashion designing, Textile designing, Accessory designing, Leather designing, Graphic designing or Interior among other then this is your chance.
The Graduate Diploma program in MIT-ID is for 4 years (8 semesters) duration intensive professional program.
Eligibility
The basic eligibility for admissions in the Graduate Diploma Program is 10+2 from any stream, (State BoardsAISSCE/ IB/ ISC) the students have to clear the admission process comprising of Design Aptitude test followed by studio test & personal interview.

Exam details of MIT-ID:
DAT –Â
3 hour long written exam that primarily tests you on observation / utilization of shapes and color / Lateral Thinking / Innovative ways to look at daily occurrences / Imagination and it’s expression on paper / idea of size and proportion. (Read Guidelines before appearing for the exam)
Studio Test
Once shortlisted through your DAT, you will be asked to create innovative 3D models based on a theme and restricted material.
Interview
Here you will be judged on your aptitude / career focus / and soft skills.
The selected learners are given admission to Predesign (Foundation program).
All learners at the MITID begin with a special program known as Predesign (Foundation Program) followed by 3 years of specialized studies in any of the disciplines offered in GDP.
